FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS…

We only use natural, high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients in our treats. Our ingredients are carefully selected to ensure they are safe, nutritious, and delicious for your pets. We avoid artificial colors, flavors, additives, fillers, and/or preservatives. We strive to ensure that all of our ingredients are sourced from within the USA and/or grown by local farmers.

Yes, we offer a variety of treats that are suitable for dogs with common allergies. Our ingredient lists are transparent and can be located under product information on the main product pages. All of our current treats are made with chickpea flour to ensure they are grain-free. We do use free-range chicken eggs in most recipes; however no actual poultry/meat products are used in our treats. Please note our products are made in a facility that comes in contact with peanuts as some of our treats contain organic, ground peanuts (peanut butter). Always consult with your veterinarian if you have concerns about food allergies. We do accept custom requests for allergen-free treats in any of our flavors; simply reach out to us and we are more than happy to replace the eggs or peanut butter, etc. (most commonly requested ingredients to be substituted) with alternatives.

All of our treats are handmade with love in our private facility located in Delta County, Texas. We take pride in using locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible to support our community, fellow American farmers, and most importantly, to ensure the freshest products for your pets.

To keep our treats fresh, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place with stable temperatures of 72-degrees or less. Humidity is the enemy when it comes to our natural treats. Once opened, we highly recommend keeping them in their original, resealable packaging and in the refrigerator. Freezers are okay, too, but they may get too hard and/or frostbit after a while, so be sure to monitor. Also, our pouches are food-safe and include an oxygen absorber packet to help keep all of the natural ingredients fresh. For best results, store our treats in the fridge from the moment you bring them home. Best Buy dates are stamped on the back of every pouch and we generally like to stay on the safe side and say that our "shelf life" is around 3-4 months, depending on the climate.

Yes, you can purchase our treats directly from our website here (best option) and also on Amazon. We offer the best ground shipping options available to ensure your treats arrive fresh and promptly. While carrier prices frequently fluctuate, we try to keep our S&H charges consistent; and prefer using the USPS for domestic delivery.

We are always here to help! You can contact us through our website's contact form, on our social media pages, or by emailing us at sales@picklesdogtreats.com. We look forward to hearing from you and assisting with any questions or concerns you may have. Please give our team members at least 24-48 hours for a reply, though we try to be speedier than that.

Yes! Our pouches are custom made of LDPE film here in the USA and are store drop-off recyclable (#4).

Absolutely! Our treats have simple ingredients and are safe for dogs of nearly all ages, breeds, sizes, and/or needs. We will be launching soft treats and training treats in the future for puppy needs as well, so stay tuned! And always, we recommend consulting with your vet for any concerns.

As of now we have three signature flavors: Apple Peanut Butter, Sweet Potato Squash, and Green Peas & Carrots. Stay tuned for new flavors launching soon! And feel free to reach out for custom flavor requests; we're always happy to try new recipes and find the best solutions for customers!

Mallory, our founder and owner, along with her mother, Wendy, and father, Doug, are the primary crafters of the treats at our manufacturing facility located in Delta County, Texas. We also have a few other close family members and friends that assist in the kitchen from time to time.

About 27 treats come in each 6-oz. pouch.

We feed our dogs about 2-3 treats each per day, but ours are snackers and make it so hard for us to say no. For small-breed (1-24 lbs) or senior dogs (7+ yrs), we suggest 1-2 treats/day max. For active dogs, small-breed puppies, and/or medium-sized adult dogs (25-60 lbs), we suggest 2-3 treats/day max. For large-breed puppies and/or adult dogs (60+ lbs), we suggest 3-5 treats/day max. Always consult with your vet when it comes to dietary restrictions.

We sure do! If you're wanting to order in bulk (one dozen or more per flavor, etc.) please contact us at sales@picklesdogtreats.com. We also offer Pickle Party Packs available for special events, parties, holidays, gifts, etc., and can create the perfect assortment for your needs. Additionally, we offer bulk orders for retailers to buy for in-store use and events (e.g. Boll & Branch stores use Pickle's Dog Treats exclusively in-store for customer dogs shopping with their parents!) Feel free to reach out to us at the email above for something like this.

All items purchased from www.picklesdogtreats.com are made pursuant to a shipping contract, meaning that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. If something goes wrong, please contact us at customerservice@picklesdogtreats.com and we will help to the best of our abilities. Always be on the lookout in your email for tracking information after making a purchase.

We process all orders within 24 hours and use a variety of couriers for shipping. USPS is our primary courier and we process shipping labels through our freight partner, Shippo. In extreme weather events, we'll delay mailing any orders for the sake of product safety (moist, damp environments are NOT good for anything natural, baked, or edible!)
